Portrait of Simon on Rainbow/Cougar Mountain Whistler
One of my good friends I was living with who was from Switzerland was determined to buy a sled for his season in Whistler. He was determined to buy a sled because there is no sledding aloud in Switzerland so he wanted to experience it while he had a chance (plus he could brag about it back home).
Snowboarding Rainbow Mountain Whistler Backcountry

Nick Snowboarding Rainbow Mountain Alpine
The first day that Simon and I made it threw all the single track on Rainbow Mountain and into the real back country we ran into some other sledders breaking trail into the alpine. This was both of our first year sledding so we didn’t really have the skills to break trail threw some light powder into the alpine so we decided to stay in the tree’s and shred some nice glade runs.
Simon Snowboarding Rainbow Mountain Alpine
I was able to shoot a nice photo of Simon carving threw the trees and slicing some nice pow. The photo was taken with my Canon G9 which produced some relatively great results for action shots.
